Play the role that brings you pride

Right or wrong
Who knows?
Life is a stage
We all play our role.
When the part is “played” well
applaud & praise are in the air
When the part portrays the truth
Criticism follows & judgement rules.
Some excel in their part
Others are broken apart
Taking the pieces of the broken soul
We glue them & prepare for next role
Survival of the fittest is the key
Masked performance takes a lead
Reality takes a backseat
and we’re deceived by our own self
This is life in a nutshell.
But there are few, very rare
Call them bizarre, they don’t care
last or first wherever they rank
Grades don’t change their appearance
They stick to what they want to do
Whether or not you accept their truth
Hurdles are many in their way
They have courage to find their way
No matter whatever the circumstance
Unfeigned they are till the end.
Wish we all could live such life
Free of any disguise
Proud of being ourselves
Without any fear, which compels
For those true feelings to masquerade.
Good or fair
This is life
Play the role that brings you pride.

  2. you remind me Shakespeare! world is a stage and we are are all players!
    “All the world’s a stage,
    And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,” -William Shakespeare, 1564 – 1616
